Pro Tips for the Ultimate Vintage Finish

• Achieving the “Distressed Antique” Plaster Look: Cast your frames in Plaster of Paris or Jesmonite. Once fully dry, paint the entire frame with a solid base of white or cream acrylic. After it dries, apply a dark brown or gold liquid wax or watered-down brown paint, letting it pool in the deep crevices. Immediately wipe the flat, high surfaces with a dry paper towel.
